Abstract Background Children are curious to learn and always explorative. This exploration is sometimes by keeping things in the oral cavity resulting cases of foreign body aerodigestive tract. Penetrating oropharyngeal bodies can result significant morbidity mortality if not treated promptly. Case presentation A 7-year-old boy was brought emergency room an alleged history insertion into mouth while playing rigid metallic rod bent end.
